Here we are at the end of another big year at Ultimate Care. As we start to prepare for Christmas I can’t help wondering where the year has gone! 2015 has seen Amanda and Ash welcome beautiful baby girls into the world. Amanda and James welcomed Gracyn Elizabeth in March, and Ash and Tommy welcomed Elkie Mae in November. Both little families are doing well and it has been such a joy to watch both Amanda and Ash become mothers.
At times like this I realise what a wonderful relationship I have with my staff and they have with each other. The genuine excitement and fondness we all share for these little babies is very gratifying as an employer. I hope that this bond is felt in the general atmosphere of the salon as we truly have a great team of girls who care for each other and for our clients.
This year has seen lots of changes as we transition from old to new staff. I am delighted to welcome back Krisany and congratulate Mackenzie and Gabby for completing their apprenticeships. Narelle and Rowena are now building strong client bases and I thank all of our clients for adjusting to and supporting our new staffing arrangements.
We have also added the services of Fiona Levings, a cosmetic Tattoo artist to our list of visiting specialists. Fiona specialises in Feather Touch Eyebrows and Eyeliner enhancements. The work she has completed is beautiful and the results achieved have exceeded expectations.
As we reach the end of the year, it is time to celebrate and I chose to spoil the girls with an amazing Hot Air Balloon ride over our beautiful Mudgee. This was an amazing experience to share with my staff and the joy on their faces made it all worthwhile. We continued the fun with partners for a fantastic night out at Elton’s Eating and Drinking and again I am amazed at what our town has to offer.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for your continued support of Ultimate Care during 2015 and wish you all a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. If you are travelling, please drive carefully.
