June 2015 Ultimate News

It’s ½ yearly ½ price sale time!

Can you believe we are half way through the year already? Winter is upon us again and it’s me to snuggle up in front of the heater and hibernate! However, we don’t want you to stop coming to see us at Ulmate Care. Going in and out of heang on cold, frosty days plays havoc on our skin. At Ulmate Care we can help you protect and strengthen your skin, so you can face winter with glowing and hydrated skin. You can feel confident and say goodbye to that red nose and cheeks!Winter is also the perfect me to start a skin care program as sun damage is less of a threat and social commitments start to wane. We are now offering more advanced skin treatments which give greater results including our extensive Ultraceucas Paramedical treatments. These provide remarkable regenerave effects on the skin and allow for maximum results.

Don’t forget we also have Fiona Mills from Elite Laser Services visit every month. Fiona has been conducting safe, professional treatments for over 10 years.  Using gold standard in laser and pulsed light technology, Elite Laser Services use only medical grade, TGA approved machinery.

Fiona has recently added “Clear and Brilliant” to her services.  This  gentle resurfacing treatment is simple, affordable and will give your skin the boost it needs!  This 20 minute procedure will even out your skin tone, brighten your skin and smooth fine lines.

This treatment is ideal for younger skin as a preventative treatment, or a corrective treatment on more mature skin. Clear and Brilliant is the latest technology in skin resurfacing and we have seen amazing results already.  I have had one treatment and can’t wait for my second.

We are also excited to announce that we have secured the services of a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist. Fiona Leavings will be visiting Ultimate Care on a monthly basis starting on Monday June 22nd. Fiona is also a makeup artist, so she knows face, brow shapes and colour matching.   Fiona will be offering the new Feather Touch Brows, which have been featured recently in Body and Soul. We have had many clients ask about this service.  Feather Touch is a finer stroke and very natural look and is taking Sydney and Melbourne by storm.  Other services will include Top and Bottom Eyelash enhancements and Powder Fill Eyebrows.  We will be offering a special introductory price for Fiona’s first visits so call us to find out more and make an appointment.

Now for what you have all been waiting for our amazing ½ price deals for June:-

Do you know how important it is to continue your waxing through winter?

Many people think because you don’t see legs and bikini lines in winter there is no need to wax, however it is very important to continue with your monthly to six weekly waxing appointments so the hair growth cycle doesn’t get out of sync.  When this happens, you will notice upon re starting in spring that  it takes several appointments to get back into the growth cycles and you will notice broken hairs, uneven growth (meaning your waxing will only last a few days before short hairs begin appearing) and sometimes even ingrown hairs.  So to encourage you all to continue your waxing during the colder, winter months and to celebrate our ½ yearly ½ price sale we are offering the following specials –

ULTIMATE CARE SKIN CARE CLASS  IS NOW IN SESSION

LESSON NO 2

Last month we talked about Vitamin A, one of my favourite ingredients, so this month we will discuss its partner and one of the most beneficial and important skin care ingredients to come onto the skin care scene in the last decade.

Vitamin C

There are many different types of Vitamin C in Skincare. Although it is a naturally occurring ingredient, Vitamin C is biosynthesised in skincare to secure consistency, stability and effectiveness of the concentrates. Vitamin C is a Tyronsinase  inhibitor and therefore brightens the skin and improves the appearance of pigmentation. But one of its most important benefits is the fact it stimulates the production of Collagen and Elastin, which helps minimise fine lines and wrinkles keeping skin firmer for longer. It also helps strengthen capillary walls, has a natural defence against UV damage and is an excellent booster for wound healing.  Not to mention Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and protects against free radical damage.

As you can see every skin type and every age should have Vitamin C in a good homecare regime. Ultraceuticals is at the forefront of Vitamin C skin care in Australia and has just re formulated C10 Firming Serum. Many clients have achieved fantastic results using the new formulation in just a few months.
