It’s Christmas Time!
What a lovely & busy time of year and I still can’t quite believe we have seen another year fly by. This year at Ultimate Care has been one of the most exciting and rewarding years I have ever had. It started with the huge decision for me to stop doing treatments and concentrate on the reception and managing of the business. This was not easy for me and it caused many a sleepless night. However my clients were so understanding and with the dedication of my amazing staff, who all just stepped up to the mark we have actually seen the business prosper.
Now that I have time to work on the business, it has seen me introduce some amazing specials and promotions, which have been received with overwhelming popularity. My biggest focus for 2014 was to get back to my greatest passion which is skin care and with this in mind, I have increased our staff training and also holding many events to offer the latest in results driven skin care to our clients. We have had seen incredible evidence of what you can achieve with good home care and a detailed treatment plan in the salon. In 2015 we will continue to pursue our goal of giving our clients the best possible skin care available in Mudgee.
2014 also saw us celebrate our 10th Birthday and a facelift to the salon (still a work in progress), and we have also been honoured with several outstanding awards, with the most recent being named Salon of the Month in Australia by Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics and a finalist in the Ultra Awards, which is Ultraceuticals annual award to the best salons in Australia and New Zealand. This is the second year in a row we have achieved this award and I am so proud of my team for their dedication and hard work.
Yet again we have had the best Christmas Party to celebrate all our achievements this year with a weekend in the beautiful Blue Mountains. We again took partners and while the boys hit the golf course, the girls were pampered at a Day Spa. The food and wine flowed and it was great to see all my staff enjoy being on the other side of a treatment. This is the best way for them to experience other techniques and compare our treatments.
As this year draws to a close and a New Year is just around the corner our thoughts at Ultimate Care are all about New Years Eve and our beautiful Ashlee McWhirter’s Wedding. We can’t wait to party the night away with Ash and Tommy and I want to take this opportunity to wish them the best for the day and to an amazing and happy life together. They are a beautiful couple. Ash will be taking a well earned break and will be back at work in late January.
